Who can apply?

To apply for an HSBC Live+ Credit Card, you must:

Be aged 21 or above to be the primary cardholder, 18 or above to be a supplementary cardholder
Have a minimum annual income of RM60,000

Salaried employees

If you're working for a multinational, public-listed, government or semi-government company or office, you'll need a photocopy of your MyKad (both sides). You'll also need any 1 of the following documents:

EPF statement – a PDF copy of the latest original non-password protected statement downloaded from the KWSP website or app
Bank statement – a PDF copy of the latest original non-password protected statement downloaded from online banking or a mobile banking app
Letter of confirmation from your employer, or your latest monthly salary slip if you've been employed for fewer than 3 months
Latest income tax return form (Form BE with tax receipt)
Form EA

For all other companies, you'll need a photocopy of your MyKad (both sides). You'll also need any 2 of the following documents:

EPF statement – a PDF copy of the latest original non-password protected statement, or EPF statement from the last 2 years if your contribution has been fewer than 6 months, downloaded from the KWSP website or app
Bank statement – a PDF copy of the latest original non-password protected statement that shows your salary from over the last 3 months, downloaded from online banking or a mobile banking app
Monthly salary slip from the last 3 months
Latest income tax return form (Form BE with tax receipt)
Form EA

Self-employed

If you're self-employed, you'll need a photocopy of your MyKad (both sides). You'll also need a photocopy of your Business Registration Form showing that your business has been established for a minimum of 3 years. Plus, you'll need any 1 of the following documents:

Bank statement – a PDF copy of the latest original non-password protected statement from over the last 6 months, downloaded from online banking or a mobile banking app
Latest income tax return form (EPF Statement, or Form B with payment receipts or CP02 attached)

Foreign passport holders

If you hold a foreign passport, you must be working for a multinational, public-listed, government or semi-government company or office, or HSBC corporate lending employer. You must also have a minimum monthly income of RM10,000.

You'll need a copy of your passport showing your personal details and a work permit that's valid for at least 1 year. Plus, you'll need a letter of confirmation from your employer stating your position, remuneration and duration of employment. You'll also need any 1 of the following documents:

Bank statement – a PDF copy of the latest original non-password protected statement that shows your salary from over the last 3 months, as downloaded from online banking or a mobile banking app
Latest monthly salary slip
