How to use Global Money Transfers in the HSBC Malaysia app

Transfer money by following these steps:

Step 1. Log on to the HSBC Malaysia app

Select 'Move Money', then 'Send money internationally'.

Step 2. Select the country or territory and payee for the payment, and the account to send it from

Find the country or region you want to send money to. Select a payee or add a new payee. Next, select the account you want to send from. Then, enter the amount you want to send.

Step 3. Enter the payment details

Enter your payment information and select your declaration.

Step 4. Review your transfer details

Check that all your details are correct, then select 'Continue' to complete.

Step 5. Check the confirmation page

Your transfer details will be shown on the confirmation screen.

How to add a payee

Step 1. Select 'Add a new payee'

Tap 'Add a new payee'.

Step 2. Select bank details

Tell us what bank details you want to use – this is based on the country or territory that you've selected.

Step 3. Enter your payee's details

Enter their account type, full name, address or other details. Then select 'Continue' to complete the transfer.

Enter a nickname if you want to save this payee as a favourite payee.

Select 'Move Money', then 'Send money internationally' and follow the prompts.
