Our existing financial assistance programmes will continue to be made available as below:
- For individual customers: The URUS assistance scheme is available for eligible B50 customers. Please refer below for more information on the programme. Meanwhile, our existing financial assistance programmes will continue to be made available.
- For Retail Business Banking (RBB) customers: Please refer to Section 3 for more details.

Financial Management and Resilience Programme (Program Pengurusan & Ketahanan Kewangan, URUS)
Following the recent announcement by the Government of Malaysia on 13 October 2022, the Financial Management and Resilience Programme (Program Pengurusan & Ketahanan Kewangan, URUS) is now available for eligible B50 individual customers. The programme is open for applications from 15 November 2021 to 31 March 2022.
URUS is available to individual customers who meet the full eligibility criteria including the need to provide supporting documents. Under URUS, AKPK will also provide personalised financial plans that are developed holistically, taking into account the customer’s financial circumstances and ability to afford repayment of all their financing obligations.
Customers are encouraged to understand the details of the financial plans options offered before application and be reminded to apply where they currently have performing facilities that are under existing repayment assistance.

Section 1: HSBC Additional Deferment Programme 2/Payment Reduction Programme 2 for mortgages/home financing and personal loans/financing accounts

HSBC 6-month Automatic Deferment Programme
The 6-month automatic deferment period has ended on 30 September 2020. If you are comfortable that your monthly payments are starting again, we have alternative payment options post the deferment period to help you save more on the total accrued interest/profit/lease rental payable.
Retail/Individual customers who have new loans/financing approved and/or disbursed after 1 April 2020 may also apply for up to 6 months deferment if needed.
